Dress Code

Students should were clothing that is comfortable and does not restrict movement. We ask that male students NOT wear tank tops, however sleeveless t-shirts are acceptable.

Appropriate shoes are required. Students should NOT wear shoes or sneakers with rubber soles and/or pointy heels as they will damage the studio floor and inhibit the learning of proper salsa technique.

Please come prepared with all necessary hygienic items to maintain a comfortable environment for all class participants. This may include extra clothing, facial towels, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrush, etc.

Studio Policies

• Parents are permitted to observe class student classes. Due to limited space, only one observer per class is allowed. Observers must sit quietly and not disturb or distract the class.
• We ask parents that there please be No small children . Observers are permitted only at the discretion of the instructor.
• Video recording of the class is prohibited without advance permission from the studio.
• Cell phones must be placed on silent , vibrate or off while class is in session.
• Please respect the studio space by not placing feet or hands on the studio walls and/or mirrors.
• Please dispose of all trash and materials in the appropriate receptacles.
• Food, beverages and personal belongings should NOT be placed or left unattended at the front desk. Personal belongings should be stored in the back of the studio.*
• We ask that you respect your fellow classmates and instructors. Please feel free to address any concerns or issues with your instructor or Viva Salsa Dance Studio management.
• Salsa just like many forms of dance, can be intimate, please be aware of this when deciding to take a class or enrolling a child. Be mindful of age disparities when enrolling children.
• Salsa dancing is also very physical activity and there is the possibility of injury.
• The Viva Salsa Dance Studio reserves the right to revoke anyone's membership who does not adhere to this policy or conducts themselves in an inappropriate way.
• There is a strict no refund policy, unless you are asked not to return by Viva Salsa Dance Studio management, then there will be a refund on a prorated basis for unused classes.
